Smart Home Water Leak Sensor and Alarm Kit with Notifications

The mydlink Whole Home Smart Wi-Fi Water Leak Sensor Kit is designed to provide a quick and easy way to protect your home and valuables from the damage caused by water leaks. The kit comes equipped with an AC-powered Master Smart Wi-Fi Water Leak Sensor (DCH-S162) and two (2) Battery-powered Remote Water Sensing Pods (DCH-S163), allowing you to monitor three areas in your home right out of the box. This is a simple D.I.Y. solution that does not require any plumbing, as you simply need to connect it to your Wi-Fi network and place the sensors where you want to monitor for water leaks.

To avoid costly water damage, the Master Sensor Plug-in is accompanied by two compact, waterproof Sensor Pods (DCH-S163) that detect leaks. The system features a multi-alert system, including voice, alarm, and text notifications, that will alert you right away if a leak is detected. The alerts include a powerful LED strobe light, a built-in 100dB alarm, mobile phone notifications, and voice alerts with Google speakers, ensuring you receive real-time notifications wherever you are.

The setup and placement process is straightforward. The Master Sensor Plug utilizes a 5-foot cord with an attachable 1.5-foot water-sensing cable, while the wireless Sensor Pods (DCH-S163) can be used to expand coverage in up to 16 susceptible areas, such as next to water heaters, washers, and under sinks. Out of the box, you can monitor up to 3 locations.

The Master Sensor plugs directly into a wall socket and connects to your home Wi-Fi network. The 2 remote Sensor Pods are powered by two AAA batteries (included) and have a lifespan of up to five years. Furthermore, the Sensor Pods leverage a Sub-Gigahertz band, which provides greater coverage and connectivity in areas where Wi-Fi may not be able to penetrate, such as the basement.
