When the hub successfully connects to WiFi for the first time, the water leak sensor has been connected to the hub by default, ensuring a seamless setup process.

The sight of water constantly leaking from your kitchen sink drain raises an instant alarm. The longer you wait, the greater the chance of an unexpected flood in your kitchen. The bottom of the washing machine is prone to water seepage, and the perimeter is usually cabinets for storing household items, which can cause significant damage.

Toilets are also high-frequency areas for falls. Placing the sensor on the lower end of the toilet can detect water leakage in time. The elderly and children are most likely to fall in the bathroom, so we must always keep the bathroom dry. Winees' sensor will protect your family's safety.

Placing the sensor in the basement, which is easy to be ignored but is most likely to be soaked when water leaks and is often used to store valuables, will protect your home in time.

The detector provides three levels of adjustable volume: high, medium, and low, allowing you to adjust the suitable volume by yourself on the app or hub. You can quickly cancel the alarm through three buttons on the hub or app.

A quick way to add new water sensors is to press and hold the 915MHz pairing button on the hub for 3 seconds, and then press and hold the sensor for 5 seconds.

Replacing the battery is easy, as you can gently turn the shell behind the sensor with the knob to remove and replace the battery.

The water leak sensor utilizes the conductivity of water. When two probes touch the water simultaneously, a current loop is formed, and the sensor reports the water immersion/water leakage status to the hub, triggering an alarm.

If the alarm switch of the sub-device is not turned on in the sub-device list of the app, only message push and logging are available, and there will be no alarm sound after detecting water immersion.

If the water leak sensor is often offline, it could be due to the device being too far from the hub, the battery being low or dead, or the 915MHz signal being disturbed by a metal surface.

To reconnect the water leak sensor, if the operation is wrong, please re-add the device according to the device adding method. If the distance to the hub is too far, move the device closer to the hub and add the device again. If the hub's sub-device is overloaded, you may need to address that issue.

The water level to trigger the alarm is when the detected water level reaches a height of 2mm. The water leak sensor has an IP66 waterproof rating, allowing for long-term use in high-humidity areas. The pre-paired sensors and easy setup make it convenient to place the sensor in various locations, such as the kitchen or washing machine.

The app notifications, as well as email and SMS alerts, ensure you are instantly informed of any water leaks, providing double protection for your home. The water detector is also compatible with IFTTT, offering additional integration possibilities.

Furthermore, the adjustable alerts and mute function allow you to customize the alarm settings to your preference, whether you want a continuous alarm, a 10-minute, 1-minute, or 30-second trigger. The remote monitoring feature enables you to check for water leaks in real-time, even if you're away from home, as the hub can connect to WiFi and the sensor can be placed up to 100 meters away (only supporting 2.4GHz WiFi).
